· Supervise a staff of four Supply Techs, ensuring inventory items are stocked at appropriate Par levels based on historical usage and clinical coordinator advice

· Hired staff members and ensured their successful integration onto our team

· Assist Supply Chain manager with monthly budget justifications by pulling data from a variety of sources including PeopleSoft and Oracle and combining and formatting to support a clear visualization of expenditures throughout Perioperative departments including Pre-OP, PACU, Anesthesia, Perfusion, Endoscopy, and SPD

· Oversaw reductions in Surgical supply inventory of 9.4% and 0.5% in 2019 and 2020 respective physical inventory audits as a result of Par level correction projects

· Maintain Item Master database in Cerner Millennium application, including site locations, pricing, and CDM information

· Monitor new item additions and track them through the process of PeopleSoft addition, CDM creation, and Cerner interfacing

· Follow item inactivation processes for items discontinued or replaced by coordinating with PeopleSoft, individual sites for shelf checks, and RPI

· Participated in 2017’s Performance Enhancement Initiative for Preference Cards, working with a panel from all hospital sites to develop processes for updating and maintaining accurate preference card data on an ongoing basis

· Provide monthly data backups of item master list and preference card data in the event of system wide downtime by using Cerner’s Discern Visual Developer application

· Enter and process patient charges daily, verifying procedures are documented accurately including appropriate supplies used

· Trained by manager to run statistical data for our office in Report Tree to enter into daily tracking Excel spreadsheets to compare to budget

· Trained by manager to run daily REV report to verify patient charges crossed accurately and that all items were charged correctly

· Trained by manager in using Crystal Reports to run Daily Times and verify corrections made by Nurse Auditors and adjust charges as needed
